Norwich Dragons Hockey Club has an exciting future ahead!!

In conjunction with a number of key partners, Norwich Dragons Hockey Club is part of a local consortium who have worked together to build a new Hockey Astro pitch in a prime Norwich City centre location.
 
In order to achieve this exciting goal, the Club has undertaken an intense period of Fundraising activity that needs to continue.

Please also keep an eye on the 'Social' Section which will detail all the latest Fundraising events - please support the Club and as always, encourage family and friends to join in.

UPDATES

  • A fantastic effort all round has seen us collect a huge number of Tesco and Sainsburys vouchers, nearly 9,000 in total.  A massive thank you to all who donated.
  • We collected again for 'Bags to the Future' in January 2011 and raised another £100.  Massive thanks to Taff for organising this and all those who donated.  We will be scheduling another collection soon and keeping you informed.
  •  Another great quiz was held on November 13th 2010 raising £275.  Huge thanks to all who attended and organised the evening.   For more details see the article on the 'News' page.
  • We collected again for 'Bags to the Future'.  The last collection was on September 22nd 2010 and raised £248.  Another collection has been scheduled for January 21st 2011 so please don't stop collecting!
  • Our Lottery held in December 2009 was very successful.  More details can be found on our News page
  • Our total raised to date (as at 30th November 2009) is approximately £34,000. Well done all!  And this figure does not yet include any proceeds from the lottery, due to be drawn on December 12th.
  • Read all about our hugely successful Auction of Promises night here.  We raised a fantastic amount which will be a massive help towards the new community hockey centre in central Norwich.
  • Easy Search’ & ‘Easy Fundraising’, rather than using Google to search for websites use ‘Easy Search’ instead.  It raises money for us every search you make. Also, rather than going direct to the retailer get there via Easy Fundraising.  You still pay the same amount for your purchase but the company you are buying from donate a % to us. Easy.
  • At the Awards Evening April 2009 we managed to raise more money on the raffle which all helps towards our target! Well done and thanks to everyone who bought tickets.
  • Well done to Deb's for yet another great Quiz in 2008, almost £300 raised.  Chris Miller was the question master for our latest quiz in October 2009 where we raised over £200.
  • Bags for the Future - £168 raised from our first collection........remember the next collection is October 20th 2009 so let's make sure we fill Caroline's WHOLE house next time.
  • Mobile Phones - do you really need your old Phone......again Caroline will take them off your hands!
  • eBay - we must all be Spring Cleaning.......I'm sure there is 'stuff' in your garage we can sell on eBay. Please contact Becs: rdsports@talktalk.net
